Overview

Pixel Worlds is a 2D sandbox MMO where players build their own worlds out of blocks, farm and craft new items, fish, and visit or trade with others. It first appeared in 2017 on mobile and Steam.

Social First acquired the game in early 2025 and later brought it back with a clean reset. Progress and the economy were wiped so that returning and new players start on equal footing, and the team has said it is focused on a managed in-game economy, stability, clear rules and active moderation.

The game runs on Android, iOS, Windows and Mac, with all players in the same worlds. Collecting rare items and trading them is a large part of the long-term play, along with designing worlds that others can explore. It is free to play with optional purchases.
