Overview

RPG MO is an old-school sandbox MMORPG that plays in the browser and also has Steam, Android and iOS versions. It is aimed at patient players, and progress through the higher levels is slow by design.

There are no fixed classes. You train combat skills such as accuracy, strength, magic and archery alongside professions like mining, fishing, cooking, farming, forging, fletching and carpentry, so a character can be a mage, a fighter or a mix. The world spans dozens of maps with hundreds of monsters and many bosses. Players can build a house and furniture on their own island, and randomly generated dungeons can be run with up to four friends for timed rewards.

A player market handles trade in thousands of items, and duels and PvP areas are available for those who want them. The game is free to play. MOS, a second currency, comes from quests and dungeons or can be bought, and it is spent in a separate shop.
