Community Rules
Draft. This page will be finalized and dated before the site launches.
Multiplayer Atlas works when opinions are honest and votes are real. These rules apply to everything members and developers post or do here.
Reviews and ratings
- Review games you’ve actually played, and talk about the game: how it plays, its community, progression, monetization. You can review again each season; your earlier reviews stay as history.
- No spam, advertising, referral links or link-heavy reviews (several links send a review to a moderator first).
- No harassment, hate, threats, slurs or personal attacks on players, developers or other reviewers.
- No reviewing or rating your own game, a game you work on, or a competitor’s game to harm it. No buying, trading or organizing reviews.
- Mark spoilers, and don’t post personal information about anyone.
Votes
- One vote per game per voting window, from a real person. No bots, scripts, click farms, VPN rotation or multiple accounts.
- Developers may thank players with in-game rewards for voting, but may not buy votes, require purchases, or reward votes for other games.
- Votes that look automated are held and don’t count; repeated abuse can remove a game from Top Voted or awards.
Giveaways
- One code per member, for your own use. Don’t resell, trade or hoard codes, and don’t use extra accounts or shared networks to claim more.
- Developers must provide working codes and describe what they give honestly.
Profiles, lists and diaries
Usernames, bios, list names, notes and diary entries follow the same rules as reviews: no hate, harassment, explicit content, impersonation or spam.
Developers
- Keep your listing accurate: status, platforms, pricing and monetization (including gacha and ads).
- Post real updates and seasons, not advertising for other products.
- Reply to reviews respectfully. Don’t pressure members to change reviews or offer anything for positive ones.
How moderation works
- Anyone can report a review. A review reported by three different members is hidden until a moderator checks it.
- Moderators can hide or remove content, and suspend accounts for a set time or ban them. You’ll be told why when you next sign in.
- Serious or repeated breaches (vote fraud, harassment, multiple accounts) can lead to a permanent ban and removal of a game’s listing or awards.
- If you think we got it wrong, contact us and a different staff member will review it.
