Overview

Pax Dei is a sandbox MMO set in a medieval world shaped by myth, where ghosts and magic are part of everyday belief. Players arrive with nothing and build up their lives through gathering, crafting and building, with almost every item in the world made by players.

The heartland areas are mostly safe and are where players claim plots of land, then construct houses, workshops and whole villages with others. Beyond them lie harder regions with stronger monsters and better resources, and outer areas where PvP is allowed. Combat is real-time and progression comes from skills improved through use.

The game launched its 1.0 version in October 2025 after an early access period. It is a one-time purchase. An optional premium subscription and plot tokens let players claim and keep land.
