Marapets

A virtual pet site set in the world of Marada, with a large library of minigames, many currencies, quests and dress-up avatars.

Overview

Marapets is a long-running virtual pet site set in Marada, a cartoon world spread across many themed lands. It dates from the mid-2000s and is still updated, with a mobile-friendly layout alongside the desktop version.

Players adopt and look after pets, run errands for quests and missions, chase collection goals and do a list of pet dailies. The biggest draw is the games area: card, puzzle, word, strategy, casino and arcade games, many of which pay out the main currency, MP, or one of several specialty point currencies. Daily bonuses rotate across games to change where the best rewards are on a given day.

The community trades items, runs auctions, joins clubs and posts on the forums, and there are contests and dress-up games for avatars and pets. Battling is available for those who want it. Marapets is free to play and ad-supported, and paid account upgrades and premium items are available.
