Idle Pixel

A browser idle MMO with pixel art and a dozen gathering and production skills, a shared player market, raids and long-term goals like the Faradox potion.

Overview

Idle Pixel is an idle skilling game played in the browser, made by the solo developer known as Smitty, who also created the Diamond Hunt games. The look is simple pixel art, and the focus is on watching many small production chains grow over weeks and months.

Skills include mining, crafting, gathering, farming, brewing, woodcutting, cooking, fishing and breeding. Most of them run on their own once started, so players check in to collect results, spend resources, and set up the next batch. Higher levels unlock new potions, seeds and gear, and late-game content such as the Faradox challenge rewards very high skill levels.

A shared player market lets people buy and sell materials, and raids offer group content. The home page lists online players, daily logins and hiscores. The game is free, with a donor shop for optional extras. The developer's newer project, FlatMMO, shares account logins with Idle Pixel, and both remain online.
