A 3D sequel to Tribal Wars with the same village-conquest core, built to play across browser and mobile.
Tribal Wars 2 keeps the core of the original: start with a single medieval village, raise resources, train an army and conquer neighbors until your realm spans many villages. It adds a 3D isometric map, research, a church system that affects troop strength and other changes to the older formula.
Tribes are central. Members share intelligence, send support troops and plan timed attacks against rival tribes, and worlds are won by holding key territory. Battles resolve in real time, so coordination across time zones is part of the game.
The game entered open beta in the browser in September 2014 and was built from the start to share worlds between browser, iOS and Android. It is free to play, with crowns sold for real money for conveniences and speed-ups.
