Travian: Legends is a browser-based real-time strategy game that began in 2004 as Travian and is run by the German company Travian Games. Each player picks a tribe, such as Romans, Gauls or Teutons, and starts with a single village in a classical-antiquity setting.
Progress happens in real time: resource fields and buildings take minutes to days to upgrade, troops march across the map, and players settle or conquer more villages. Raiding inactive and weaker neighbors is common, so defense and timing matter, and players often coordinate around the clock.
Servers run as rounds lasting several months. Alliances band together, take control of key areas, and in the endgame race to build a Wonder of the World, which ends the round. The game is free to play; gold bought with real money buys Plus account features and convenience boosts.
