Overview

Ravendawn is a top-down fantasy MMORPG from the Canadian studio Tavernlight Games. It has a classic, old-school look inspired by games such as Tibia, while adding modern systems for crafting, housing and naval travel.

Characters build a class by combining archetypes, which gives a wide set of skill combinations. Day-to-day play includes hunting in shared territories, gathering, professions such as herbalism and alchemy, farming on owned land and trading through a player economy. Ships can be built and sailed, and sea content includes battles and trade runs. Group boss challenges and gear tiers give long-term goals.

Guilds can own estates and take part in weekly guild war battles over forts, and there are duels and small-team arenas. The game is free to play, with an optional premium subscription and a store for cosmetic and convenience items.
