Overview

Vampire Genesis is a browser-based vampire MMORPG set in Death Valley, a gothic, gaslit city drawn in pixel art with its own clock and weather. It launched in 2010 as Coven Wars and continues a line of vampire browser games that began with Vampire Freaks: The Game in 2004.

Players hunt in four wild wards on planned expeditions or quick hunts, duel rival vampires in the arena with a monthly ranked ladder, and catch, raise and breed familiars. Four gathering and five crafting professions supply gear graded from Poor to Legendary. Characters can reach level 500, with Paragon ranks beyond.

Covens fight for control of the city's districts through sieges and multi-front Coven Wars, and players can move from a free starter lair into a room, flat, townhouse or mansion to furnish. It runs in desktop and mobile browsers with no download, is free to play, and its premium extras are cosmetic only.
