Supremacy: Call of War 1942
- Strategy
- PBBG
A World War I grand strategy game where up to hundreds of players fight real-time matches lasting weeks on one map.
Supremacy 1914 puts each player in control of a nation in a World War I setting. Players manage provinces, resources and production, build infantry, artillery, ships and later aircraft, and move armies across a map in real time.
Matches last days or weeks and keep running while players are offline, so planning orders and timing moves is central. Diplomacy is as important as war: players form coalitions, sign agreements and betray each other. Large maps can hold hundreds of players.
The game was released by Bytro Labs in 2009 and later came to Android, iOS and Steam. Bytro is now part of Twin Harbour Interactive within Stillfront Group. It is free to play, with gold and a premium membership sold for real money.
