Overview

Stronghold Kingdoms brings the castle-building of the Stronghold series into a persistent online world. Each player runs one or more villages, managing food, industry and taxes, and designs castle walls, towers and traps that are tested by AI raiders and other players.

Politics are a large part of the game. Players vote for leaders of counties and provinces, join factions and houses, and coordinate sieges against rivals. AI enemies such as the Rat, Snake, Pig and Wolf from the single-player games also appear on the map. Worlds run for long periods and some have end conditions.

The game is a downloadable client for Windows and Mac, with iOS and Android versions, and is free to play. Firefly sells premium tokens and card packs that speed up or support progress.
