Overview

Metin2 is a fantasy MMORPG with an East Asian martial arts theme. The world of the Dragon God has been damaged by falling Metin stones, which spawn monsters around them, and players destroy these stones as a central part of leveling.

At the start, each player joins one of three rival kingdoms, which shapes PvP and territory battles. Characters choose from several classes and skill paths, upgrade gear through refining, and take on dungeons and powerful bosses. Guilds can fight in guild wars and duels are open between players.

Gameforge runs the European and North American servers. The game is free to play with an item shop, and receives regular numbered updates. Metin2 began in South Korea in 2004 and has been one of Gameforge's longest-running MMORPGs in Europe.
