Overview

Pantheon: Rise of the Fallen is a fantasy MMORPG from Visionary Realms, a studio founded by EverQuest co-creator Brad McQuaid before his death in 2019. It is set in Terminus, a world where people from many other worlds were drawn and stranded.

The game deliberately follows the design of early MMORPGs. Leveling is slow, enemies are dangerous, and most content is built for groups with defined roles such as tank, healer and crowd control. Perception and environmental systems hide secrets in the world, and climate effects such as cold and heat require preparation. Travel and death carry real costs, which encourages planning and cooperation.

The game entered early access on Steam in December 2024 and is still in development, with more zones and systems planned. It is sold as a one-time early access purchase.
