Comic-style superhero RPG where you build a hero, run timed missions, collect odd gadgets, and duel or team up with other players.
Hero Zero is a lighthearted superhero RPG from Playata that launched as a browser game in 2012 and is also available on iOS, Android, and Steam for Windows. You create a costumed hero in a cartoonish town and work your way from neighborhood helper to world-saving celebrity.
Most progress comes from missions that take a set amount of real time to finish, plus a daily energy budget, so the game fits short check-ins. Missions and duels earn experience, money, and gear, and the gear list leans into comic absurdity. Stats are raised directly, and you can furnish a hideout that produces resources over time.
Players duel each other for ranking, and teams let groups pool resources, fight together, and chat. Seasonal events and limited-time rewards rotate through the year. The game is free to play, with a premium currency used for speeding up missions, extra energy, and cosmetics.
