Overview
Black Desert Mobile is Pearl Abyss's phone version of its Black Desert MMORPG. It launched in Korea in 2018 and worldwide in December 2019. It keeps the series' detailed graphics and action combat in a smaller package built for mobile, with a large open world and many classes that can be swapped and later awakened.
Beyond combat, players run a camp that works as a home base and produces resources, and they can fish, cook, gather and craft. Story quests, boss fights and group content fill out the PvE side, while guilds fight in node and siege-style wars and players duel in arenas.
The game is free to play on iOS and Android, and Pearl Abyss also offers a PC launcher. The shop sells premium currency, passes and packs, some of which contain random items.
