Age of Conan: Unchained

A mature-rated MMORPG set in Robert E. Howard's Hyborian Age, with combo-based melee combat, guild cities and PvP sieges.

Overview

Age of Conan: Unchained is set in the Hyborian Age from Robert E. Howard's Conan stories. The opening hours on the island of Tortage are largely single-player, with a day and night cycle that changes which story quests you see, before the game opens up into regions such as Aquilonia, Cimmeria and Stygia.

Melee combat uses directional attacks and combos, so positioning and attack direction matter more than in most tab-target games. Classes include soldiers, rogues, priests and mages, and later progression comes from alternate advancement, dungeons and raids.

Guilds can build cities on special maps, and battlekeeps can be fought over in sieges on PvP servers. The game is rated for mature audiences and does not hold back on violence. It is free to play, with a premium membership and a store for expansions, items and conveniences.
