Overview
Lineage2M is NCSOFT's reworked version of its PC MMORPG Lineage II, built for phones and PC. It launched in South Korea in November 2019 and reached North America and Europe in December 2021, with English, German, French, Spanish, Russian and Polish text.
The game uses a large seamless world with high-detail 3D graphics and is built around mass conflict, with open-world battles meant for thousands of players at once. Players level characters, gather and upgrade gear, and join clans that fight for control of the world.
It is free to play on iOS and Android, and NCSOFT's PURPLE launcher lets players move the same character between phone and PC. The shop sells premium currency and items, and much of the progression centers on collecting and enhancing gear.
