Overview

Blue Protocol: Star Resonance is an anime-styled action MMORPG that follows on from Bandai Namco's Blue Protocol, which closed in Japan. It is a separate game made by Bokura, set in the same universe, with a bright fantasy world and stylized characters.

Players choose a class and fight in real time, with dungeons, raids, world bosses and seasonal events providing most of the progression. Characters can be customized in detail, and life skills and guild activities fill in the social side.

The game launched worldwide in October 2025 on Windows and mobile with cross-platform play. It is free to play with in-game purchases. It is available on Steam as well as on the official site, with weekly maintenance and holiday events.
